For three years, the impetuous apostle Peter walked with the Messiah.  He was a fisherman called by Jesus, “Follow Me, and I will make you a fisher of men.”  Peter followed and was told, “You will be called Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church!”

Later this same disciple who jumped out of boats, drew blood with the sword, denied Jesus, and fought competitively with his peers said, “You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house.”

During our midweek Community Night Live, we will explore the text of the Apostle Peter’s first letter to us, the Church.  We’ll discover truths about spiritual growth as we see what Peter learned after three years of following Christ, as a builder of the Church, and as he grew from impetuous apostle to mature Church leader.
